tips for digging in brooklyn
- Go on a weekday afternoon — staff have more time to chat and shelves are freshly restocked.
- Bring cash. Plenty of independents still prefer it, and some give a small discount.
- Ask about new arrivals and back-room stock. The good stuff isn't always on the floor.
- Check the Brooklyn listings on Vinyl Atlas before you go — opening hours and stock change often.
